Aviva Investors' Social Value Label certification scheme seeks to recognise, and apply a rating to, the quality of practice in the construction supply chain in delivering good employment, skills and training outcomes for people and communities near its real estate development projects.

Launched in November 2025, the label is designed to help contractors and local authorities understand Aviva Investors' intentions and expectations around the impact of its development projects, as well as recognise best practice.

Accredited by CITB's National Skills Academy for Construction, the label applies a three-tier rating- Core, Impactful, and Visionary - based on 17 criteria assessing employment, skills, and education outcomes. Contractors are evaluated on measurable results, quality of engagement with delivery partners, and repeat outcomes for individuals.

For these aspects, the Social Value Label wins Aviva Investors 2026 Insurance Asset Risk social investing initiative of the year award.
