Addenda Capital joins Net Zero Asset Managers Initiative

Privately-owned investment management firm Addenda Capital has joined the Net Zero Asset Managers Initiative (NZAMI).

Addenda Capital is co-owned by Co-operators Financial Services, a subsidiary of Canadian Insurance co-operative, The Co-operators Group, by Fonds de solidarité FTQ and by employee shareholders.

The NZAMI, launched in December 2020, counts 130 signatories worldwide, including some insurers’ affiliates, representing $43trn in assets under management.

The initiative came a year after asset owners formed an alliance to work towards net-zero.
