Aviva completes £900m bulk annuity deal with Kingfisher Pension Scheme

Aviva completed a £900m ($1.24bn) bulk purchase annuity transaction with the Kingfisher Pension Scheme, a British retailing company.

The insurer will insure the defined benefit pension liabilities for 8,000 members of the scheme, taking responsibility for the investment and longevity risk.
