AXA IM expands responsible investment team with two hires

AXA Investment Managers (AXA IM) has increased its responsible investment team by appointing Olivier Eugène as head of climate and Liudmila Strakodonskaya as an environmental, social and governance (ESG) analyst.

Eugène will work on reinforcing AXA IM’s research on climate, focusing on the transition to net zero. He joins from BNP Paribas Asset Management, where he worked within the pan-European equity portfolio management team for six years.

Strakodonskaya will provide thematic research and analysis on ESG topics with a specific focus on biodiversity, as well as on green and sustainable bonds. Both will report to Virginie Derue, head of ESG research.
