Dai-ich Life invests $50m in BlackRock climate fund

Dai-ichi Life has invested $50m in the Climate Finance Partnership Fund, a climate infrastructure fund managed by BlackRock which specialises in investment in climate infrastructure assets for emerging countries.

The fund’s projects include renewable energy, as well as logistics related to power generation, such as power transmission/distribution and power storage facilities. Geographically, the investments will be in Asia, Africa, and Central and Latin America.
