Dai-ichi Life becomes first Japanese insurer to join Net-Zero Asset Owner Alliance,

Dai-ichi Life has become the first Japanese and institutional investor based in Asia to join the Net-Zero Asset Owner Alliance (Net-Zero AOA).

The Net-Zero AOA is an international initiative in which institutional investors aim to transition to carbon neutral investment portfolios by 2050.

With assets under management of $379bn, Dai-ichi Life becomes the 34th member of the alliance.
