Dai-ichi Life has made a JPY 100m ($950,000) impact investment in Sharing Energy, a Japanese start-up providing third-party services for residential solar power systems.
The funding will provide capital support to Sharing Energy's initiatives, as the underwriter “expects this investment will realise a high level of returns, as well as reduce CO2 emissions” as a social impact, it said in a statement.
