Dai-ichi Life invests JPY 3.5bn in data centre

Dai-ichi Life is to invest JPY 3.5bn ($32.3m) in a construction project for a large data centre in Inzai, Japan.

The location was chosen due to its solid ground and low earthquake risk, and this is the first time the Japanese insurer will provide funding for a data centre in Japan.
