HSBC Asset Management appoints global head of institutional business

HSBC Asset Management has appointed Paul Griffiths as its new global head of institutional business, effective from 5 May.

Based in London, he will report to chief executive Nicolas Moreau.

Griffiths will be responsible for the commercial development of the firm’s institutional business and lead its institutional sales and client management teams, taking over from Brian Heyworth who left the firm last year.

Previously, he was at First Sentier Investments where he was chief investment officer for fixed income & multi-asset solutions.
