Andreas Brandstetter has been unanimously re-elected as the president of Insurance Europe, extending his tenure for a further three years, from the initial mandate which was due to expire in June 2021.
Brandstetter is also chair and chief executive of Austria’s Uniqa Group.
Sandro Panizza, group chief insurance & investment officer at Generali Group, has been elected as vice president.
