M&G makes role changes at two UK equity funds

M&G has made management changes at two of its UK equity funds.

The first is at its £511m M&G UK Income Distribution Fund, where Elina Symon has been appointed as manager with immediate effect.

James Taylor is to be appointed manager of the £278m M&G Smaller Companies Fund on 1 July, where he has worked for a number of years.

There will be no changes to the aims, objectives or policies of either fund, the asset manager stated.
