Ping An targets no less than 20% annual green investment growth rate

Ping An has upgraded its green finance activities and quantitative green finance performance targets.

These include targets of no less than 20% annual growth rates for its green investments and no less than 70% for its green insurance premiums.

By 2025, Ping An aims to have RMB 400bn ($61.6bn) invested in green assets and total green insurance premiums of RMB 250bn.

In order to steer the company though the changes, Ping An has also created a Green Finance Committee, headed by Ma Mingzhe, chairman of the company.
