Sogecap to invest €800m in French SMEs

Société Générale Assurances (Sogecap) has announced it would invest €800m ($957m) to help French SMEs recover from the economic dip linked to the COVID-19 pandemic.

The investments will take the form of government guaranteed loans to be refunded after eight years. To benefit from the loans, companies will need to have reported at least €2m of turnover in 2019.
