Axa IM - Real Assets gets first letting for west London project

Axa Investment Managers - Real Assets has signed the first lease agreement at its three-acre Assembly London estate in Hammersmith, west London.

The international media group, Tinopolis, has committed to 30,000 sq ft (2,787 sq m) of office space at 1 Smiths Square at the entry to the estate, the site of which was acquired by Axa IM – Real Assets in October 2014.

1 Smiths Square will be the first phase of the Assembly London estate to be completed, following the receipt of planning consent in August 2015, and will incorporate a mix of users.

"We are very pleased to have successfully attracted such a high-quality occupier to our London development pipeline, supporting the creation of value for our investors," said Harry Badham, UK head of development, real assets.
