Ex-GSAM portfolio head joins PGIM Fixed Income

Stephen Warren has joined PGIM Fixed Income, a global fixed income manager, as managing director. Together with Yves Trinquet, he will co-lead the investment risk management and quantitative team.

Warren was previously the global head of portfolio construction and risk management for the fixed income and liquidity management team at Goldman Sachs Asset Management (GSAM). He had been at GSAM since 1993.

PGIM Fixed Income does business in the US as Prudential Fixed Income. It had $565bn in assets under management (AuM) as of 30 September 2015 and is part of PGIM ($947bn in AuM), the global investment management arm of US-headquartered Prudential Financial, Inc. (PFI). PFI is not affiliated with Prudential plc, which is headquartered in the UK.

PFI is a financial services provider with more than $1tln of AuM that offers a variety of products and services, including life insurance, annuities, retirement-related services, mutual funds and investment management.

Insurance Asset Risk has contacted GSAM to ask who will replace Warren.
