Insurance Asset Risk Awards 2019: winners announced

Insurance Asset Risk is pleased to announce the winners of its 2019 Awards.

The big prizes were shared among a number of firms. Insight Investment won fixed income manager of the year. For a second year in a row, Axa Investment Managers won real asset manager of the year, while the judges voted Aviva Investors as both alternatives manager of the year and investment team of the year.

In our individual awards, Robert Vaudry, of Wesleyan, took the judges' award for chief investment officer of the year.

Neo Mooki of Aberdeen Standard Investments took the young professional of the year prize, and Aberdeen Standard investments was also judged as having made the investment innovation of the year.

This is Insurance Asset Risk Awards’ second edition. Building on last year’s success, an increased number of entries was received, matched with an increase in quality – which made the judges work even harder.

The whole of Insurance Asset Risk’s team would like to thank the industry for its support, and the judges for their time and expertise.

We will be hosting a cocktail reception on 7 March at Tower Bridge’s walkway (London, UK) to celebrate the awards. Please contact oli.henry@insuranceerm.com should you wish to purchase tickets to attend.

The judges' decision is final and neither Insurance Asset Risk nor the judging panel will enter into any correspondence regarding individual entries and/or the award winners.
