Leduc named Standish Mellon CEO

David Leduc
David Leduc, the chief investment officer at Standish Mellon Asset Management Company, has been appointed chief executive officer in succession to Desmond Mac Intyre, who is leaving the firm.

Leduc will retain his CIO role at Boston-based Standish, the fixed-income arm of BNY Mellon Investment Management.

He joined the firm in 1995 as a portfolio manager and analyst and has been CIO for the past five years.

Standish, with insurance companies among its clients for many years, has $160bn of assets under management (AuM). BNY Mellon Investment Management has AuM of $1.7trn.
