Research: Insurers' investments in the carbon transition

Most asset owners agree on the destination: net-zero by 2050.

The path to get there however is much less widely agreed upon, and indeed all do not face the same challenges. As clichés go, smaller and larger firms do not share the same level of resources and so face hurdles of different natures.

Equally, geographical differences exist, mostly due to cultural approaches to the issue.

Beyond these divisions, there are common challenges for insurers across the world to reach net-zero.

All of the above, and solutions to move forward are highlighted in a new report produced by Insurance Asset Risk and J.P. Morgan Asset Management.

The report is free to download here.
