Video: a chief economist's perspective

Ludovic Subran, chief economist Euler Hermes and Allianz, discusses where we are in the credit cycle, the considerations for insurers’ investments in this environment and  if insurers are ready for a potential downturn.

Subran responded to Insurance Asset Risk questions on the back of our 2019 EMEA conference held earlier this month. During the conference, he warned the audience that China’s emergence from a regional to a global power could have a significant effect on the rules of doing business around the world.
